Do you have a TurboTax Online account?

We'll help you get started or pick up where you left off.

If my original tax expert forgot to file my taxes by the April 15th deadline and hasn’t responded, how can I be reassigned? I’ve spoke with support about a dozen times.

Each time that I spoke with support they stated a 48 hour turnaround time to find a new expert that wasn’t on drugs, dishonest, or unstable. Is it possible that no such individual exists at TurboTax? I am being honest when I say I’ve spoken with 12 people at this company and they all lied and didn’t do what they said. That can’t be a fluke. I would love to get my taxes done, but I’m in an endless loop of ‘hang tight, it’s a busy time of year.’ Of course it’s my fault the person I select to prepare my taxes went MIA, but this is insanity.

You can change the expert you’re working with, you can give us a call by selecting Get help now under Need help with something else?.  You can also send your expert a message by selecting the tab with your expert's name (next to Checklist) and letting them know.

I’ve done this 3 times in the past 10 days, and they say wait 48 hours for a new expert, and nothing ever happens. Four days ago, a person told me that she would call every day until I had a new expert. She called once and was nice, but didn’t call back again. She stated that this time of year is busy and not normal. That said, I think she gave up.

You need to stop lying to people that a supervisor will get an expert over in 48 hours at the most. These are your timelines, not mine! Honor what you say. I expect you to cover the interest as I still don’t know what I have to pay, and my original expert who said she was working on my taxes (full service) didn’t do anything. Creating a paper trail as I'm sure I'm not the only one with issues you. Disappointing that you've gone backwards year over year and charge an absorbent amount in fees with horrific service.
