If my income on my state return is displaying seven times my actual income, what do I do to fix it?

Its displaying my income as well over what I actually make but I'm not sure how to change or fix it. My adjusted gross income on my tax home page says my real income but the state income return says something way higher.

Go back and check your W2 box 16 or 1099.  You might have entered box 16 wrong for state wages.   You might want to delete the W2 or 1099 and enter it again manually.  That usually clears something out and fixes it especially if you imported it.  

Click on Wages and Income tab at the top
Then your W2 should be listed at the top. Click on Edit, Review or Revisit
