If my 1098-T is going on my parent's taxes, not mine, do I need to include any of my financial aid refunds on my taxes?

The amount of the refunds were less than my total grants/scholarships and less than my tuition.

It depends. Your parents should enter the 1098-T into their TurboTax program so that it can make the calculations.

You need to let your parents know about any refunded scholarships/aid so they can enter that information in also.

When everything is calculated, their program will tell them if you need to report any income.
