If I update federal return will state return be updated too?

My federal return is almost complete but I have to look for info tomorrow to complete.  If I start my state return, will the changes I make later in my federal return be updated in the state return?

    Yes, your State return should update when your Federal is updated, you can always check it just to make sure.
