Lines 34 and 37 of your 1040 tell you if you owed or will get a refund.
When you were completing your tax return using the TurboTax online editions, in the Review section of the program you were shown the amount of tax refund or the amount of taxes owed for both the Federal and State tax returns.
In the File section of the program in Step 2, you were given options on how to either receive the tax refund or how to pay the taxes owed. You could not have e-filed your tax return if you did not complete this section of the program so you had to know whether or not your were receiving a refund or had taxes owed.
Look at the Filing Instructions for your tax returns, Federal and State. How you chose to receive the refund or how you chose to pay the taxes will be shown.
To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.
This will take you back to the 2023 online tax return.
Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Then click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return. Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets
