If I am amending my 8606 Basis I expected the 1040X to be selected but not the AZ 104X. I did not see a checkbox to unselect 1040X.

Hello, If I am amending my 8606 Basis I expected the 1040X to be selected but not the AZ 140X.  I did not see a checkbox to unselect 140X on my amendment how do I do this?  It looks to be forcing both.

By default your AZ return is included when amending your federal return because the amended federal return may impact your AZ return.  TurboTax won't know what impact your changes will have on your AZ return until your federal return has been amended in full.  However, should the amendment result in no changes to your AZ return, TurboTax recommends not to worry about it as expressed in the following article.
