I filed my taxes last night and need to file an amended return due to late reception of one of my taxable items from my credit union .how do I go about it?

If federal is already e-filed and pending, and you need to add information to your return, you need to wait until it is either accepted, or rejected.

If rejected, you can update your return and re-file.
