Every case is different and since everyone is different each will be handled differently. On the link I am including below it states "Most taxpayers won’t be impacted by the PATH Act
The IRS expects that the majority of tax refunds (more than 9 out of 10) will be issued in 21 days or less from the time of acceptance."  Track your refund through the "Where's my refund" tracker here - https://sa.www4.irs.gov/irfof/lang/en/irfofgetstatus.jsp
