I wanted to know how far behind the irs is with issuing refunds, mine was expected on 3/5 & I still haven't received it.

Did you receive the date of 3/5 from the IRS? If not, you can visit their website to check if they have a date available.

The 5th was the 21 day processing date provided by TurboTax, it first said on the IRS website received & then it changed to a message about still processing & no other information since then. Its said the same message since on/around the 5th.

Ok, you will want to continue to monitor the IRS website for the date as Turbo Tax will not know when your refund will be ready.  The 21 days is an estimate of how long it may take them. When they finish processing it, they will publish a date.
