While you work on your return and when you are finished, there is a "refund monitor" in the upper corner that shows your refund or tax due. For your federal refund look on your Form 1040 line 20a -- or on line 22 for a federal tax due. We do not know what state you are in so you need to look over your own state tax return to find what it says.
