I want to amend 1040X to my 1040 form. I have filed 1040 instead of 1040-NR

How do I upload the 1040-X form to amend. I don`t see an option to amend that even tho I went through Amend my tax link in the taxhome

Amended returns can only be mailed. It is suggested that it be mailed certified with return receipt (or other tracking service) to verify that the IRS receives it.
