In the File section of the program on Step 2, if you have a tax refund you can select to have a refund check mailed to you.

To get a check for your refund you need to pay the fees with a credit card and can't have the fees deducted from the federal refund.  And you will save the Extra $40 Refund Processing Service charge (45 in California).
