I used the irs non filers get my payment tool but madr a mistake with my status, married instead of single. Will that affect my stimulus? I have bern waiting for it for 2 months now

Married versus single will affect the amount of your stimulus payment. It is possible this is causing delays, but the IRS does not provide updates to TurboTax regarding stimulus payments for individual taxpayers. Did you also file a tax return?

No I haven't file taxes since 2017. I wasn't working that's why I have no income.  When I was filling out the form using none filer tool there was only two options there for status.  I didn't check the married filing jointly coz we are not living together anymore. And it says at the bottom to check single if there is only one adult in that household which will be me.  That's why I filed under single.  Besides I also don't have the information of my husband so I won't be able to put his SSN.  Hopefully its not causing it to take this long.  I filed it 04/14 and its also direct deposit. Im still waiting... 😔😟
