I think there was a mistake made when I filed my taxes

I filed my taxes, but it seems like I owe a lot more money than I should.

Once the return has been filed and accepted for processing, there is not much you can do.  However, in the meantime you can go through your return ( use the printed out copy from the filed return including worksheets) and  verify that you understand what has been done.  If you do find an error, you can amend your return --- suggest do this after the processing of the current return is complete.  To amend you go back into TurboTax and tell the  program that you need to amend the return --you have to save the original first-- then follow guidelines and make changes.  Mote that amended returns  can only be filed by mail --- no e-file capability
