I think that I forgot to add my state taxes into my federal return. What can I do? It was line 17 on my w2.

If you have not filed or it came back rejected you can simply go back into your return and add the necessary changes.

To edit a w-2:

• Click Federal Taxes
• Then click Wages & Income
• On the Here's your W-2 info screen, click Edit next to the W-2 you want to change.
• Continue through the interview to enter your W-2 information.
