If you find a mistake on your return and it has already been accepted by the IRS, you will need to wait until you receive your refund and then file an amended return. 

If the return has been rejected, you can edit the information and then re-submit.

If you need to submit an amended return, you will need to wait until the forms are available sometime in February along with specific instructions. Please see the information below to learn more.
