I started the first return but could not complete it. I want to start a new return, but the software is so different from years past. How do I switch?

The first return is for my daughter and we are waiting for more information. The second return will be for my son.

If you are using TurboTax Online, you will need to set up a separate account for each return.  You can start HERE and choose to start with the free version for each return.

If you are using TurboTax Desktop, you can create a new return by clicking the FILE tab at the top left of your screen and then choosing New Tax Return.
