I also got a 4464c letter from the irs my return was a simple one filed single and now their checking me out ive never had a problem before in my life with my taxes why now

I'm in the same boat too got a letter 4464c on March 22 2018 it's about 12 days of review well I heard other threads that by April 15 they should make a quick decision to either release our tax refunds or wait till full 60 days crap

I called the irs yesterday very nice lady told me that by April 15 they should release people funds by then but if not it will till the end of the month of April so we all keeping our hopes alive people let's  pray for our refunds too come soon for everyone with this issue amen

I received my transcripts and it says by 4/15 return receive date or whichever is later and it was processed on 2/26?
But that's a Sunday I thought it was business calender days?

I received my letter on 02/26 and it was dated 02/23. I filed 01/19 and it was accepted and I was originally given a deposit date of 02/09.... Still have yet to receive anything. I have checked with the IRS about 4 times since Feb 26th and I even got one lady the second time that was so good and informative and reviewed my return line by line and she couldn't find any discrepancy she said unfortunately it was the luck of the draw. They have not requested anything from me and WMR has said the same generic response of it is received and being processed msg that i see nothing but red every time i go one there.

i am so very tired of this. some people well most people depend on that money and yes i have a child as well and have past due bills and disconnect notices. It is not fair. I filed through TT just like i always have i have been at the same job for almost 6 yrs ....there's nothing complicated about my return i just don't understand it!

I filed my return on 01/31/18 and it was accepted on the same day. Waited the full 21 days and contacted the IRS who told me at that time my address was incorrect in there system and they have not sent me a letter yet. Fast forward to 03/12/18 I got the 4464C letter in the mail dated 03/08/18 stating it's a review and I need to wait the 60 days. Called the IRS again after the letter and the lady states that I just need to wait but she does not see anything wrong. I cannot get my transcripts via online, phone system or mail because the information does not match what the IRS has. It is now 04/13/18 and I have not received anymore letters and the WMR keeps saying processing with the message topic 152. I have used Turbo Tax for the last 4 years and the only thing that changed was the address. Do I have to wait the full 60 days or until April 15th? I will NEVER AGAIN in my life use Turbo Tax after this year. I am disappointed in them and the IRS for playing with peoples hard earned money. We didn't have to wait this long for you guys to take it so it shouldn't take this long to give it back.

I received a 4464C letter 02/26/18 which was dated for 02/23/18 , it’s now 04/20/18 still nothing from the irs and Monday makes the 60 day dateline could anyone give me any advice I just need a date and calling the irs I get so many different stories

I'm thinking and hopefully mines will be mid May. Its 60 business days. Not including holidays and weekends.
Mines been from 2/23? Nothing yet.

So I called the irs. Apparently after the 60 days is up which would be April 23rd and I call them if i haven't received my money or a letter requesting additional info the next steps will be for them to send a message to the verification Department I said then what happens do they have a certain amount of time by law like seven days where they have to either release my funds or tell me what they need she said oh no they are allowed an additional 60 days to answer our message.

Fml. Are you serious right now. This is so unbelievable. I feel hopeless

Ugghh (pulls hair) this is crazy!!! I have a right mind to go up to the IRS office in my state to see exactly what is going on with my refund! I don't understand how you are hired to answer the phone and not know anything! What kind of boo boo garbage training do they provide? Another 60 days my a**! By that time we will be preparing to file again. Honestly, I'm a single mother with a kid, no assistance man or gov't, and I just lost my job. I do not qualify for a hardship so I can't get a T/A. Man this just really sucks and I'm praying everyday either a new job comes in time or my $$. Someone please help lord!

Ok this is a bunch of bs. I was told that on top of this 60 day process that it may take another 60 days for either disburment or denile of my return check/ DD. They said they have thousands of tax returns to review. I live in Texas so how are they being processed?
