I received a letter in the mail for economic impact payment issued to me from 2021. I received the letter in February of 2022 but did not open until November of 2022.

This was not claimed as a recovery rebate credit on my 2021 taxe return filed last year. How do I go about claiming that for this tax return?

File an amended return to claim your third economic impact payment.

The IRS corrected returns that had the wrong stimulus amounts, but the service did not add stimulus payments if you did not claim them on your 2021 tax return.
