I received a corrected 1098 after filing my taxes. Box 2 changed. Box 2 went from an amount to blank. It does not change my refund amount. Do I submit an amended return?

Since amending your return for this will have absolutely no effect, and cause absolutely no change in your tax liability, the IRS says you are not required to amend. However, you should file that corrected 1098 with your printed copy of your tax return, and keep it "forever", in case laws change down the road.
