I received a 1099 misc form after I filed my 2016 taxes . I did an amend. I owe money and was told to mail in my amended taxes with a check. I do not have the funds available right now. will i receive my original refund or do i need to send in the amend

Most people wait until the original return has been processed and the refund has been received before sending out the amended return with the payment. As long as your original return has been processed and accepted on or before 4/18/2017 then you are all set and can send in the amended return when you can!
