I putein the wrong date for anuity stard date how do i fix this
To correct the Annuity start date in TurboTax Online:
- Sign into your Online account
- Go to Federal Taxes at the top
- Go to Wages & Income
- Sroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
- Select Start/Revisit next to IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan withdrawals (1099-R)
- Select Edit next to your 1099-R
- When you arrive at the question "Are these periodic payments" select "Yes.
- Select the payment Start year and continue.
Note: If the Annuities began in 2015 or prior, when asked to "Describe the Taxable Amount" select "A different amount was taxable. Then select the Simplified method and continue. You can then edit your Annuity information.
