I paid turbo tax to e-file but I ended up needing to mail my return how can I get a refund for that payment?

There is no fee to efile a return when using the ONLINE version ... the fee is for the use of the program to complete a return that can be filed even if you have to mail it in. Successful efiling is not guaranteed.
