Yes, you'll be issued a check to the address on your return, if the account you indicated for your Refund is closed.

You'll get an Email from TurboTax that you won't be charged the $25 fee for Early Refund.

I’m not sure but from what I’ve been hearing from everyone who did try the “early deposits” it seems like turbo tax is holding onto returns that didn’t pay the 25 dollar fee instead of sending it right over like they did in previous years. Completely my opinion, but I’ve used them the last 5 years maybe even longer and I’ve always gotten my return 3-4 days before my ddd. This year I didn’t pay the fee and have yet to see my deposit.
