The date you enter for the Direct Debit on your tax return should be the date the IRS debits your account.  Since the IRS does not inform you when they debit the account you will need to review your bank statement for when the funds are withdrawn by the IRS.

TurboTax receives no information concerning the tax return or when the IRS debits your account once the tax return has been filed and Accepted by the IRS.
