I need to make changes on my 2016 tax return. Has it already been processed?

Since I had $0 income, I was unable to E-file. I printed out the forms to mail in, but now I need to make changes. Do I need to Amend?

Yes,  if you need to make changes to what you originally filed you will need to file an Amendment.  The IRS suggests that you wait until they have been accepted before you file your Amendment.  You can click this link to get information on who/where to call, since you mailed your taxes in.  That way you can find out if they have been accepted yet or not.
