I need to change the tax return I just did for 2016. It's been filed and I paid. I need to not claim some dependents. How do I do this?

You should log into your account and 2016 return. If it has been accepted, tell TT you want to Amend your return and follow instructions.

You cannot e-file an amended return. You must mail it. It may take 6 to 8 weeks for the amended return to be recognized in the IRS system.
