I need to amend my 2015 NY State and NJ returns. I do not have windows and can't open the program

I was able to download the 2015 Turbo Tax program but unable to open because my Mac OS does not support Windows.

Ok .. if you have a MAC why did you download the WIN program ?  Where did you get the program ?

You'll have to do this on a computer or laptop, as it involves installing the TurboTax download software. You won't be able to do this on a mobile device.

1. Sign in at TurboTax.com with the login you used when you filed your 2015 return.
2. Click Show to open Your tax returns & documents.
3. Select 2015, and then click Amend (change) 2015 return.
4. In the expanded instructions, click the links in step 1 (download your .tax file) and step 2 (download TurboTax Desktop 2015 for Windows).
5. • Using a Mac? Complete this online form to request the 2015 TurboTax Amendment software for the Mac.
6. Install the TurboTax Desktop 2015 software. Win instructions | Mac instructions
7. Now, open your .tax file in the TurboTax Desktop 2015 software by choosing File > Open Tax Return (Windows) or TurboTax > Open Tax Return (Mac). Browse to the location of your tax file, and then click Open.
8. Finally, you are ready to amend your 2015 return. Follow the instructions in this FAQ.
