I mailed my federal got approved , now its still telling me i need to get approved to file my state

You printed and mailed in the federal return and now you need  instructions to print and mail in the state return?

Yes, but its still telling me to mail my federal and not giving me the option to mail state.

If your federal return was not e-filed, you will not be able to e-file your state return. print, sign and mail your state return using the address to mail a state return.

I am trying to mail my state but its not giving me the option to mail it only efile but i cannot.

In the FILE tab step 3 choose to mail in the state return then the correct forms & filing instructions will be presented.

Its not allowing me , it says my federal has to get approved first. Which it has already

Try changing the federal return to mailed in as well.
