I have finished my amended return and it says in progress. Do I need to do anything? Will I get an email saying it's processed? This is confusing to me, need help. Thanks

If you are talking about filing an amended federal return, it is too early to do that yet. The 1040-X which is the form used for amended returns is not due to be finalized until 2/9/18. Once the form is finalized, you will be able to file an amended return by using the instructions below.
