I have amended my 2021 tax return. The federal return has been e-filed. Can I e-file it state tax return or I have to print out and mail paper to California FTB?

No, you are not able to e-file the amended return. Yes, you will have to print and mail it to California.

The form used is 540 Schedule X and it is not available for e-filing as shown on the list of tax forms for California.

Has this been fixed? I paid just to e-file my amended california taxes. Can I get a refund if this is this case?
