I forgot a 1099G form when I filed my taxes. When I go to amend them, there is not an option for a 1099G. What do I do?

I forgot a 1099G form when I filed my taxes. When I go to amend them, there is not an option for a 1099G. What do I do?

What is your 1099-G for? It is usually received for state tax refunds, unemployment, and family leave.  It is reported in different places depending on why you received it. To get started, type 1099-G in the search box, then select the 'Jump to' link.

If you already filed your return, wait until your original return is fully processed before you file the amended one. If you are due a refund, wait until you receive it. Do not make any changes to your original return. It is important to begin with the return in its original form. See the FAQs below.
