I filed my taxes in January, and they were accepted February 12th. There has been no updates and my transcript still shows “no return present”. What’s the hold up?

My “as of date changed from 02/12/2021 to 3/29/2021 yesterday and then changed back to 3/1/2021 yesterday as well. I’m not sure if those dates mean anything. I’ve never had an issue with my taxes and I’m not sure what’s going on.

That article doesn’t help at all. There’s people who just filed a week ago and have already received their tax return. I filed the same day as my friend, who also claims the EIC/CTC and she received her return on 2/18. I have another friend who filed on 3/4 and received her return on 3/12. I understand that the IRS is backlogged, but that in no way, shape or form, explains why some are getting theirs and mine still doesn’t even show on my tax transcript.
