To print your amended tax return, choose your version and complete the following steps below:
Detailed Instructions if you're using TurboTax Online version

Sign in to TurboTax
- Click on the Tax Home button
- Scroll
down to Your Tax Returns and Documents and
click Show More
- Highlight
the year of the return you amended
- Click
on Add a state (not
adding one, just a way to get in and print)
- Click on the Tax Tools (left bottom corner) then, Print Center
- Select Print, save or preview this year’s return
- Check the
box next to returns you want and choose forms to print
- Click on view or print the forms
Detailed Instructions if you're using TurboTax CD/Download version
- Open your
amended return.
- Click
on File and then, Print.
Three weeks after mailing off your amended
return, you can start tracking it at the IRS Where's My Amended Return? tracking tool or by calling the
IRS at 1-866-464-2050.
The amended
return tool can’t
access certain amended returns; refer to our frequently asked questions for more information. Please allow at least 16 weeks for the
IRS to process your amended return.
