What does it say in your account?  Does it show that the return was accepted?   Or does it say something else---like "rejected," "printed," or "ready to mail?”

If it says anything other than "accepted" then you did not file it.   Paying your TurboTax fees does not file your return.  You have to go all the way through the FILE section and click a big orange button that says "Transmit my returns now" in order to e-file.  If you did not do that, the returns were not filed.

You can file 2022 now, but you cannot e-file.  E-filing is permanently closed for 2022.  You need to print it, sign it and date it in ink, and mail the returns to the IRS and state.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.

Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses.  Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.
