I filed and received refund. Now i was informed we are getting W2C in few weeks. after deadline

I have filed and Received refund for 2021 year. Now i was just informed from employer that they did not add my (MOTUS) Vehicle Reimbursement into my taxable income. So they are sending me a W2C but will not be ready for at least 5 weeks. I cant file amendment until i get W2C. how do i approach this ? do need to file extension? or wait?

You do not need an extension to amend. You have plenty of time to amend. Wait for the corrected W-2 and amend when you have it in hand.
