If you have filed a 2019 tax return and need to change or add your direct deposit information, see this IRS website - https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/economic-impact-payments-what-you-need-to-know
The IRS does not have my direct deposit information. What can I do?
In the coming weeks, Treasury plans to develop a web-based portal for individuals to provide their banking information to the IRS online, so that individuals can receive payments immediately as opposed to checks in the mail.

I have tried several different ways to fix my direct deposit info for the stimulus check. Turbo Tax keeps telling me I will have to pay more to do it. This is NOT a difficult fix. Too bad for me that I used them in the first place!!! I have learned my lesson!

If you have filed the 2019 tax return and it has been accepted then the method or means to receive a tax refund cannot be changed or transmitted to the IRS or a State.  This is true regardless of who or what you use to prepare and file a tax return.

If you have filed a 2019 tax return and need to change or add your direct deposit information, see this IRS website - https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/economic-impact-payments-what-you-need-to-know

If you have NOT filed the 2019 tax return -

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.

This will take you back to the 2019 online tax return.  Click on File on the left side of the online program screen.  Click on Step 2.  Change your information for the direct deposit.
