I did my 2018 taxes but turbo tax read them as 2019. Is this a problem ?

Since the TurboTax online editions are Only for tax year 2019, then Yes there is a problem.

You cannot enter 2018 tax data on a 2019 tax return. The IRS will probably reject your tax return on or after January 27. Then you can clear the 2019 return of the 2018 data.

To complete and file a 2018 tax return using TurboTax you would need to purchase, download and install on a personal computer, Win or Mac, one of the 2018 desktop editions from this website - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/

A 2018 tax return can only be printed and mailed, it cannot be e-filed.
