There is no way to transfer information from last year's tax return without the .tax2021 file. When you use the CD/Download TurboTax software, the only copy of the file is on the computer that you used, and any backup copies that you made. TurboTax does not have a copy of it. If you don't have a backup of the .tax2021 file you will have to start your 2022 tax return from scratch, as if you didn't use TurboTax last year. You will have to enter all the information manually, as it is called for in the Step-by-Step interview.
There's no upload option for IRS tax transcripts. The information would need to be entered manually. As rjs stated you can start from scratch for 2022. Again, no way to upload transcript. You could also you could enter information to get an amount for the depreciation, using the following steps provided by a previous expert:
Here is a guide for how to go about entering it into TurboTax in order to duplicate the entries that have been made by the CPA and continue the same depreciation.
