I completed an amended 2016 return, and have printed for filing by mail. My 1040X and 540X forms say "DO NOT FILE, FORM NOT FINAL" on it. How do I obtain the final versions of the form?

It is too early to amend 2016. You must wait until the IRS and state have accepted your returns and fully processed them.
