I amended my tax return how long does it take to get approved and how do know It went through

when I clicked on "more about my return" and it says $313 (my original return) but also said $1008 paper check in the mail.

You can track your amended return 3 weeks after you mail your amendment using the IRS tracking system.

It may take up between 12-16 weeks to receive your  amended refund.
