I amended Federal Return for 2019, do I need to amend state return if there is no change in the state numbers?

Greetings,

I amended my 2019 Federal and California returns to take a deduction I had missed the first time.  I also have business in Oregon, and prepared an amended Oregon return, but there were no changes to the Oregon numbers (I owed no tax and received no refund for both the original and amended returns).

Do I need to file the Oregon amended return in this case?

Regards,

George

As long as there is no change to your Oregon state return, there is no need to amend it. Please see this TurboTax FAQ, for more information, Do I need to amend my state if I amend my federal?
