If you are living overseas, you have an automatic 2 month extension (to June 15). But to use this, you must file by mail, and attach a written explanation. Or, you can request an automatic 6 month extension which applies to everyone. That will give you until October 15, and you can e-file. You must apply for the extension before April 15. You can apply online, but the function is not turned on yet in Turbotax (usually turned on sometime in March). Or you can mail a paper application.

Some members of the military, such as those who serve in a combat zone, can postpone some tax deadlines. If this applies to you, you can get automatic extensions of time to file your tax return and to pay your taxes. Tax returns are generally due 04/15 each year for the previous tax year, and you can request an extension, usually in March.
In proud support of your service and sacrifice, enlisted active military and reservists can file both their federal and state taxes for FREE using any of our TurboTax Online products, which include Free, Deluxe, and Premium. Not valid for TurboTax Live or TurboTax Desktop products. Military Appreciation Promo
