You can delete the form 1098 (mortgage interest), please see this FAQ on how to delete forms:
I accidentally selected that I purchased a home. The home purchase was for the upcoming year. I put in mortgage interest but it was still for the old home. Do I need to go in and correct that? It never asked for other information about the new home?
If you owned a home in 2022 and paid mortgage interest, then you can claim that mortgage interest on your 2022 tax return. You do not need to correct it or delete it.
If you did not purchase your new home until 2023, then you would not enter any information about that home on your 2022 tax return.
