I accidentally claimed myself as independent when last year i was a dependent, is there a way for me to swap?

Yes, if you filed your return already and made a mistake, you can fix it by filing an amendment. 

You can't amend your 2023 tax return until the form is available and you also have to wait until your original return is fully processed. That date is estimated to be February 15. 

Once the amendment option is available, you can sign in and amend your return in TurboTax. Follow this link for more details. 
 

The person who can claim you as a dependent, won't be able to get their return accepted for e-file with you included as a dependent this year. 

They can either leave you off the return, e-file it and then ‌amend it later, or they can file their return by printing and mailing it in.
