How to get refund for overpayment to IRS?

I failed to report rental income for the 2019 tax return. IRS sent me a letter with the amount I owed. I sent IRS a check for the amount owed. However, I have now come to know that there are deductions that would have reduced the amount I owed to zero. I am hoping I can fix this mistake and get a refund. Asking here for advice on how to proceed.

which year did you make the additional tax payment? 

Did you file the original return using TurboTax? 

Are you wanting to use TurboTax to file the amended 2019 return or will you file a paper copy?
