How long will it take irs to accept my return

It has been 48 hours since I sent my taxes to irs when will they accept or deny

It seems to be taking longer than the normal 24-48 hours for the IRS to accept or reject tax returns. It is likely caused by the huge backlog of returns that were filed on or before Jan. 28 when they officially began accepting returns. There is nothing you can do but wait.
