How long does it take to get a paper check in the mail ?

I wanted to get this added to my pre paid Walmart card, how do I do that?

According to the IRS, it can take between 6 - 8 weeks to get a paper check.

Its been like 3 weeks and I have not heard anything from them yet.but they say may take up to 6weeks.we will see
