How long does it take for the IRS to approve my return

It can take 24 to 48 hours for the IRS to process a return that has been filed or transmitted today. It all depends on how fast they can process the log of returns.

The IRS app goes by 3 steps "received" "approved" and "sent" the question was how long after it's accepted will it be approved?
