How do I save a draft amendment until I can get complete information?

If you are using the TurboTax online editions to amend a 2018 tax return, then you should just Sign Off the account and the information you have entered is saved. Just remember your User ID and Password so that you can access the account at a later date.
Click on Sign Off at the bottom left of the program screen.
